Holistic nutrition is a comprehensive approach to achieving overall wellness that goes far beyond simply counting calories or following diet trends. While nutrition is a key component, holistic nutrition is rooted in the belief that true health requires balance and harmony within the mind, body, and soul. It recognizes that all aspects of a person’s well-being are interconnected and that optimal health is only possible when all body systems work together in alignment.

This approach considers not just what we eat, but also how we live, think, feel, and connect with the world around us. Holistic nutrition emphasizes whole, natural foods, mindful eating, and lifestyle choices that support both physical and emotional well-being. By addressing the root causes of imbalance rather than just the symptoms, holistic nutrition supports long-term vitality and a deeper sense of overall wellness.

IV Therapy

IVs and injections offer faster effects of medications and actives, as well as offer instant hydration. This method bypasses the gastric system, allowing for improved and complete absorption of nutrients. It serves as extra convenience for clients as there will no longer be a need to take daily oral vitamins.

I have been a midwife since 2001. Originally from Canada, I practiced midwifery in Indiana, where I had a solo homebirth practice for 7 years. The strength of my experiences came from clients and babies in rural, small town and urban settings and from friends who invited me to their births. I graduated from the direct entry midwife and certified professional midwife program at Birthwise Midwifery School, in Maine, 1998-2001. Midwifery care is purposeful and tangible work which inspires my soul.

Belief that clients should ask questions, choose their place of birth, and supporting their informed decisions surrounding pregnancy, birth and parenting, has resulted in a variety experiences. I am humbled by the strength held within during birth and throughout this important transitional event.

Connecting with clients and their families in my community is personally very satisfying. I am most appreciative of the love and support that my family; my life partner, Ed, and my children, Melina (1996) and KJ (2002) have so generously given. Each time I attend a birth I am reminded of their love.
